Featuring an in-house brewery, this traditional building is situated at the foot of Heidelberg Castle in Heidelberg’s Old Town district. Heidelberg-Altstadt Train Station is just a 5-minute walk away.... We booked last minute for an overnight stay on our way back to Denmark. A staff member was waiting for us upon arrival and showed us to a nice room. Great hotel in the centre of town and nice breakfast.

Our room faced the interior, so we didn't hear any noise from outside. The room heating was good; we didn't feel cold. Breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options. The staff was very friendly. If you're traveling by car, you can park at P12, which is just a few minutes' walk away and the hotel offers a discount coupon for parking there.
