On the banks of the River Irwell, the award-winning Lowry has rooms with views, a riverside restaurant and a spa. Free WiFi is also available. Loved everything - so spacious and really feels luxurious. Booked two rooms, one with river views and the second for teenage son. Son’s room was upgraded at no extra cost, a lovely touch. Loved the walk in wardrobes in both rooms. Breakfast was superb.

The hotel was the best I have stayed in for a long while . The staff was helpful , The whole of the hotel was spotless, Room was very comfortable , Bar area was comfortable , restaurant food was very nice , and Breakfast was lovely Lots of choice. Excellent location for the lowry theatre just a five minute stroll away . I will definitely use the hotel again .

The Hello Hotel is 8 km from Manchester city centre, with 2 nearby train stations and free parking. Each room comes with free Wi-Fi and an en suite bathroom with a heated towel rail. Really nice place with cozy beds, complimentary breakfast bundles, friendly and helpful staff, located at a comfortable distance from the city centre. Enjoyed my room and had a memorable stay (even though it was for an exam). Also, Albert's next door has amazing food and a classy vibe!

I have no idea why the rating is so low but it was a great stay and I even had a heater working🤣 You can get here by bus at 2 pounds - the stop is outside, it is a quiet and safe neighbourhood there is Lidl on the way to get some food. Check in is remote - you get your room number and a code for the keys - the locker can be tricky - push harder to open. Towels and linen were included in the rate, soap and shampoo. They even provide a small tea pot, that was very lovely along with coffee. The rooms and property are a bit outdated and it’s not that fancy of a place but among all the variants in Manchester this was the best. You can also use a kitchen to heat smth.

The Ainscow Hotel is set next to Salford Central Railway Station and just 10 minutes’ walk from Manchester’s lively centre and the trendy Northern Quarter. our top floor room was huge & comfortable with windows on 3 sides. Everything looked new and it was spotlessly clean. The bar/cafe prices were reasonable unlike many similar hotels. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Location is great for the city center
