Het Plaza Hotel ligt in de wijk Ladadika, op slechts 50 meter van de haven en dicht bij het centrum van de stad. Het beschikt over een stijlvolle bar en gratis WiFi in alle ruimtes. Hethotel ligt in een leuke wijk en is zeer geschikt om Thessaloniki te bezoeken.

Het historische Capsis Bristol Boutique Hotel, onderdeel van de keten Historic Hotels of Europe, werd gebouwd in 1860. Sfeervol en oude chique. Zeer goed bed in een ruime kamer . Het hotel is midden in de gezellige wijk met veel tavernas en cafés . Maar onze kamer was een oase van rust. We waren met de auto en als filter hadden we parkeren aangegeven. Dat is mogelijk idd maar dan betaald en op een grote parkeerplaats ( er zijn trouwens veel goede parkeergarages ) met een starttijd de volgende dag om 8:00. In Google Maps stond het hotel aangegeven op de verkeerde zijde van de weg en daardoor was het wat lastig te vinden. We stonden met de auto tussen de terrassen 😅 Het ontbijt was in het gezellige straatje op het terras. Erg leuk!!

Sea & the City, ideaal gelegen in het centrum van Thessaloniki, op 6 minuten lopen van Aristotelesplein, biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en een hot tub. Amazing spot, highly recommended. We stayed for two nights in the sea view 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom appartment. It had everything you need, even two refrigirators. I noticed some people complain about the noise, which is there but also expected when you book anything in the Ladadika area because it's full of bars, restarurants, and night clubs. With windows closed, the noise was minimal, and every room had AC if you want air fresh air. The beds were fantastic, so comfy, great night sleep is guaranteed. We needed some assistance from the manager and he responded immediately, was very nice and helpful. I can't think of anything negative to share really. The price was a bit high, but we were only two people. I think the appartment would give you the best value for price ratio if your traveling party is made of four people. Two things that I would mention as something that needs improvement, thoguh they weren't enough to lower the score or enjoyment: - There wasn't a drying rack for dishes, which you won't need if you use the dishwasher, but still it would be good to have one. We only used like two cups and two plates that we washed ourselves. - Both toilet seats were somewhat loose when you move the lid up or down. No issues when using them, but something to keep in mind. We were overall too happy with the accomodation and out stay. If you can afford it and want to be near the Ladadika region, this is a top place to book.

The aprtment's location is perfect. The place itself is new, very clean and comfortable. There are a lot of restaurants and bars around. Check in was super easy and convenient and the host is very friendly and helpful.
