Le Funi Hotel is a charming hotel, set in a quiet area of Bergamo Alta. It is close to the historic centre of the medieval town. Excellent location: close to Colle Aperto bus station (direct line to/from the airport and train station. Also close to the major attractions in Citta Alta: Piazza Vecchia, Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, Duomo, etc.) You can also easily reach the beautiful walking path along the Venetian Walls (Viale della Mura). Breakfast had a very good selection; you can order from a set menu which is on display. The Deluxe room was quite big with a wonderful view over the city, big bathroom and very comfortable bed. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and they make you feel very welcome. Grazie mille!

Set in the historic Bergamo Alta area, Il Sole offers a restaurant serving traditional dishes and pizza from the wood-burning oven. The modern rooms come with free Wi-Fi and mountain views. Wonderful location. Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent service.

On the main street of Bergamo's Città Alta district, Hotel Piazza Vecchia is near the Cathedral and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Perfect location in citta alta- staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious . Very clean . Great view!!
