Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. The half board package was great. The restaurant is really good. The Pool and Spa a must experience. The room was very comfortable. Location was the best.

The location was perfect within the city. The room had plenty of space for two adults, two children and a small dog. The breakfast was simple but excellent.

Le Malve Cave Retreat Cave Retreat is located in Sasso Caveoso, the historic part of Matera. It boasts air-conditioned rooms with a town-view balcony and a buffet breakfast. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very clean. Location was perfect for walking around/exploring Matera. Gianvito is exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Thank you!

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. Located in the heart of the cave district, this hotel had wonderful food and great hosts who made our stay so nice. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable.

Ideally located in the Sassi di Matera district of Matera, Cenobio Hotel & SPA Matera is set 800 metres from Convent of Sant' Agostino, 240 m from Matera Cathedral and 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. Reception was kind and welcoming. Mario the driver was a big help with driving and our luggage. Sara was a fabulous guide. We loved her. Hotel was beautiful and clean. Would have enjoyed cut up fresh fruit for breakfast. We loved our stay in Matera and Cenobio felt safe and homey. When you travel so far to Italy, it is a wonderful experience to stay at Cenobio because theh welcome you like family. Thank you for taking such good care of us!

Set in Matera, Il Carrubo residenza Walk&Stay features a fitness centre, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Amazing place to stay in the Sassi!!! I recommend this 100% and if I return to the Sassi, which I hope to do, I will stay here again. Gianni is so kind as well as the other staff and the other visitors.
