Offering 19th century Venetian styling, Hotel Moresco is just a 5-minute walk from Piazzale Roma. With free Wi-Fi, its elegant rooms are a luxurious mix of old and new. The hotel is exceptional, we loved it! It was clean, well appointed and the staff, especially Roxana on Reception, very friendly and helpful. You feel as if you are in a 5-star hotel. It is well located, within walking distance (over a few bridges) from the train station, which is ideal, because you check-in and are then luggage-free to explore Venice. Although the breakfast room isn't very big, in good weather you have the option of sitting out in their beautiful garden to eat, which was wonderful. The staff couldn't be more attentive, they were all excellent. It was quiet, the beds were comfortable and the room clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

Located in a historic Venetian building, Sonder Salute Palace is 200 meters from the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and a 5-minute walk from the Salute water-bus stop, the one before Saint Mark's... Amazing staff, modern, great wifi, loved our one bedroom suite with canal view, super clean, loved the location… away from busy tourist spots but walkable, waterbus stop close by, cute shops in the area, breakfast was convenient. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Just 50 metres from the Accademia and a 4-minute walk from the Guggenheim Museum, the Alboretti is located in Venice’s Dorsoduro quarter. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and LCD TV. A gem of a hotel in the beautiful Accademia area. This was one of the few hotels that had room for a last minute trip to Venice, and boy did we get lucky! The hotel itself is quaint with warm interiors, the room was very comfortable, newly renovated and much bigger than we expected, the breakfast was generous and the staff were absolutely lovely. The location is a huge plus — the hotel is located in a charming part of Venice, away from the crazy crowded areas, but well connected by public transport to the city centre (which is also accessible on foot if you would like a longish stroll). It’s a stone’s throw from the incredible Academia gallery, the Fortuny Museum and the Peggy Guggenheim collection. We would definitely come back here!
