The hotel is a small boutique hotel located by Kamogawa river, close to subway and Eizan railway. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and always willing to help. I have been to Kyoto many times but staying at Riverte Kyoto Kamogawa had definitely made this trip even more enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel provides different local sweets and snacks everyday in the room so it’s always a surprise what I come back and find. The amenities in the room is well equipped with superb quality. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re ever in Kyoto and wish to stay somewhere away from the busy downtown. Look forward to stay here again in the future. PS. Crosta deliver my luggage to the hotel since I arrived very early in the morning. Then it’s hassle free to wander around without dragging the luggage to the hotel before check-in time. It is an old fashion style japanese style with a lot of charme. Bus stop is very near by. Futons are very confortable. The showers and wc are beautifuls ans very clean. It is one of my best moment on Japan. I totally recommand Bon guesthouse.

Super comphy with everything you need while traveling, washing machine, kettle for your coffee, and microwave oven. Spacious with a big bed. Kinkakuji is very close, so you could be there before being crowded. The owner is a nice and helpful guy.

The accommodation is clean and safe and near the main road and restaurants. If I have the opportunity to go to Tokyo, I will definitely stay again.
