The outdoor garden was amazing, the dinner and breakfast was fantastic, and the staff/restaurant servers were so incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. The staff was even able to accommodate a massage with last minute notice. 10/10 experience would definitely stay here again.

Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- has a fitness centre, garden, a restaurant and bar in Kyoto. The staff were so welcoming and extremely helpful with any request we had, from recommending and booking resturants for us to arranging taxi's. Would definetly stay again in the future and have already recommended it to my other friends.

Can't decide which part of the stay was best, the whole experience was just absolutely amazing. The staff is the most kind, loving and helpful we've ever had the pleasure of being in contact with. The rooms are absolutely beautiful (we stayed in a Twin room and the Riverte suite) and the amenities accommodate nearly every need you have for a stay away from home. The skincare they provide from Mikimoto cosmetics, LOVE. The fact that breakfast is delivered to your room every morning makes the stay even more intimate. Also, everything you need (metro, train, convenience store, restaurants) is in walking distance from the hotel while still having the tranquil moments given by the Kamogawa river, the greenery and the mountains. We're looking forward to coming back!

Situated in Kyoto and with Kyoto Imperial Palace reachable within 1.8 km, Kamo Residences by Reflections features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and... The manager let us check in early. We were super exhausted. I booked Garden River Suite but got a free upgrade to Executive River Suite and delicious afternoon tea treats. It was a super location close to all the sites we wanted to visit. Luxurious ambiance, new property, and great care for detail, service and cleaning. The concierge booked a fantastic Kaiseki for us- super attention, organization, and real love for their work. 🍾 🥂

Situated within less than 1 km of Heian Shrine and a 14-minute walk of Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple, Guest House Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13438 features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom... Tadashi-san and Yuki-san were without question the best hosts we've had in a while. Their care and help were outstanding and the house itself was extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We felt at home for our nine nights, I will definitely be back if I have the chance!

Our favourite stay during our trip to Japan. The hosts were very welcoming and always happy to help us with our questions! I would recommend this guest house to anybody considering to visit Kyoto. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but not too far from some major tourist attractions. The hosts also suggested a walk around the neighbourhood with some lovely quiet/calm temples.
