Calm and tasteful interior, woody scent, quiet, beautiful outdoor garden. Lovely spacious room with open bath, comfortable bed, relaxing atmosphere, fun teaware to play with. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. Kaiseki dinner of the inhouse restaurant was also delicious and well presented.

Hotel Okura Kyoto Okazaki Bettei -Age Requirement 12 over- has a fitness centre, garden, a restaurant and bar in Kyoto. Amazingly helpful staff that made reservations at great restaurants. Beautiful breakfast restaurant overlooking a lovely garden. Great food. Lovely Japanese touches to the architecture and rooms. Perfect location for exploring Kyoto's sights.

What an exceptional room. The combination of traditional (tatami) and modern was beautifully done. And the staff and facilities were second to none.

Situated within less than 1 km of Heian Shrine and a 14-minute walk of Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple, Guest House Nishimura - Vacation STAY 13438 features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom... Nishimura-san and his wife were really adorable with us ! Everything in their home is beautiful and made us felt like home. The location is extremely convenient to visit touristic places and Tadashi Nishimura gave us a map with a recommanded tour which was really useful !

It is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but not too far from some major tourist attractions. The hosts also suggested a walk around the neighbourhood with some lovely quiet/calm temples.

Hospitality of the owner was quite beautiful. He asked each time if we had anything needed, acted so thoughtfully. Location is very close to metro station and the room was big enough with cozy balcony.
