The location of the hotel is perfect and close to the Main Street Shijo-dori where you can find all sorts of shops for food, souvenirs, shopping and restaurants. Basically you can get everything there. One particular area that amazes us is how polite and responsive the hotel staff is to address your needs. We had a wonderful stay with my wife and toddler during our stay with amazing breakfast delivered right to our room and excellent hospitality. They even prepared some energy gels and drinks for my Kyoto Marathon 2024! Beyond satisfied! Although the room is slightly smaller than we expect, that’s alright and still has ample room for us to maneuver around with 3 big luggages. The bathroom is another highlight where my toddler enjoyed so much with a super big bathtub where we all can enjoy after a long day of walking around the city.

Absolutely loved our stay at Saju. Clean, beautifully simple Japanese style rooms, and while on the smaller side (we are 5 9 and 6 4 and were fine), we loved every moment ♥️ the welcome matcha ceremony, the beautiful incents, the welcoming and helpful staff, the location, the beauty of this small ryokan. Excellent value for the price. Do not walk, but run for this Absolutely incredible accommodation in the heart of Kyoto, on a quiet and beautiful street. Thank you, Saju!!!
