El Takao Kanko Hotel está situado a 600 metros del templo de Jingo-ji. Ofrece habitaciones de estilo japonés con vistas al río y baño privado. Extremely welcoming hosts with A* service. Each room has en-suite bathroom and toilet. Super good dinner and breakfast.

El Momojiya Annex está situado junto al río Kiyotakigawa y ofrece habitaciones tradicionales con bañera privada al aire libre y vistas al bosque. The location was breathtaking! The personal was really kind. Everything was just perfect. El onsen privado vale mucho la pena, el personal es súper amable y la experiencia de la cena es muy tradicional y muy rica.

El Momojiya of Takao, una tranquila posada tradicional japonesa situada junto al río Kiyotakigawa, ofrece habitaciones de estilo japonés con vistas al bosque, alberga unos baños públicos con vistas a... The traditional kaiseki dinner and breakfast was excellent - food was plentiful and delicious. Staff was very warm and friendly. We were able to book the private open air bath (additional 4000 yen), but the water was hot and the mountain view was lovely. (Best to arrive early if you are planning to book a private bath as preferred times get snapped up quickly). There is a path where you can hike up to a temple nearby, but there really isn't much else in the area.

El Ryokan Yamazaki, situado a 10 minutos en coche del templo Kinkaku-ji, ofrece un baño público caliente y sirve desayunos y cenas tradicionales por un suplemento. I was traveling together with a friend and she preferred to book a place a bit outside of the city. The place is still very accessible by bus (stop is almost in front of the house), or even the tram if (you don’t mind a 15 minutes walk). The staff was very kind and welcoming and you will easily get along with English, if you don’t speak Japanese. The rooms were tidy and comfortable and would also recommend to take the Japanese breakfast in the house. Cannot judge the dinner since we usually returned late and ate somewhere else. Highly recommend the ryokan!
