Everything was nice and clean. The free drinks at the evening were just great (sake tasting!). The location is amazing.

The staffs over there were exceedingly nice and helpful, they helped me to recover the thing I left on the train. Also, everything is in pleasant walking distance.

The location is amazing - 2 minutes walking from the train station and 5-10 minutes walking from Takayama's main attractions. The hotel is really small and cozy, overlooking a pedestrian street. The staff was really nice, spoke good English and helped us book a restaurant for dinner when everything around seemed to be already booked. We stayed in Takayama during the spring festival and the town was really busy with tourist. Because of that the price seemed a little higher but the hotel really delivered. The room was big, comfortable, modern. The beds were great for resting. The bathroom was wooden (nice touch) really well decorated and sparkling clean. We had various amenities at our disposal and comfy pajamas. The breakfast was nice - western style although we were expecting to have something Japanese which was a bit disappointing but it was prepared in front of us and was tasty and fresh. It was rainy during our stay and the hotel supplied free umbrellas. Overall we are super happy with our stay here!

Relax Hotel Takayama Station har ett perfekt läge i området Hida Takayama Onsen i Takayama, 2,3 km från Hida Minzoku Mura museiby, 48 km från Gero Station och 8 minuters promenad från Fuji Folk... A great location, a short walk from both the train station and the old town. The room was a great size, well equiped, comfy beds and very clean. The staff were helpful and we enjoyed the complimentary sake.

Temple Hotel Takayama Zenkoji ligger perfekt beläget i Takayama och erbjuder luftkonditionerade rum med en trädgård, gratis WiFi och en gemensam lounge. Fint att få deltaga i en meditation Munken var väldigt trevlig och informativ Pratade bra engelska

Mercure Hida Takayama ligger i centrala Takayama och erbjuder boende med en bar. Bra frukost med mycket att välja av. Bra rum med bra sängar, rummet var stort med japanska mått. Hotellet verkar vara nybyggt. Mycket nära tåg station.

Chisun Grand Takayama ligger i centrala Takayama, 1 minuters promenad från Takayama station och 2,3 km från Hida Minzoku Mura museiby. Hotellet låg nära tågstationen och var lätt att hitta till. Det fanns många restauranger och fina områden med gångavstånd och det var mycket enkelt att ta sig runt i staden från hotellet. Rummet var fräscht och fint. Spaanläggning var också fräsch och avslappnade.

Hotel around TAKAYAMA, Ascend Hotel Collection ligger bekvämt beläget i Takayama och erbjuder luftkonditionerade rum med en restaurang, gratis WiFi och en bar. The facilities in the hotel were amazing. There was a private "onsen" (not a natural one), which you could book for 45min for a fee. (somewhere around $15). The room was clean, modern and spacious. The staff was super lovely, we felt super welcome and were able to ask anything without any problem. There was also a map in the lobby featuring all sorts of interesting places and restaurants to visit. Lastly, we had a night at the bar too, and the barman was wonderful. We had some drinks and snacks for a very reasonable price. There is also a laundry room, with 2 in 1 washing and drying machines. You can check availability from the tv in your room (or even the website/app, I believe). However, note that the drying function of the machines is not that good, so you might have to continue drying some clothes in your room.

FAV HOTEL HIDATAKAYAMA West ligger i centrala Takayama, 7 minuters promenad från Takayama station och 1,7 km från Hida Minzoku Mura museiby. The location is just ok for me, not very far. I love the room, the price was affordable and reasonable. Will book again if I come again. The staff (is a guy) that serves me was nice, fluent in English. Great.
