We were there on 2 cold days in March but our room was warm with a heater and electric blankets. Very comfortable beds and an onsen in the room. We had a beautiful view out our window and in nice weather it would be lovely to sit outside but not on this visit. You eat downstairs in a pleasant dining room. The 2 dinners were fabulous and well prepared but we couldn't eat much of the breakfast (it was all Japanese), other guests loved it. But on the second day the cooks made us a delicious breakfast that kept us going all day. The owner is very helpful, he cares a lot about his guests, he's still working on the place and it will be really nice when it's done.

The owner of the hotel is a very nice and very helpful. I can see the beatiful view of the mountain from the window of the hotel. The private onsen is very impressive. I got lost because my GPS doesn't work and I got there late at night. Fortunately, I brought the phone number and the name of the hotel in Japanese. The owner is so nice to come to pick me up and take me to the hotel safely.

湯布院 おやど花の湯yufuin oyado hananoyu está muy bien situado en el barrio de Yufuin Onsen, Yufu, a 47 km de Oita Bank Dome, a 2,7 km de Lago Kinrinko y a 32 km de Estación de tren de Beppu. My husband & I enjoyed everything here. It was located not far from town, it is more convenient if you rented a car here if stay at this ryokan. It is spacious for a small family of 3 like us and the private onsen is a bonus, you can choose to soak in anytime u want.
