Renovated in 2018, the 4-star Hotel Alto Lido is located in Funchal’s prime area – Lido, 2.5 km from the city centre. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Exceptionally nice and helpful staff. Great location with free shuttles to the center. Spacious and clean room, great swimming pool. Breakfast with many choices. Many thanks to Alto Lido staff for lovely holiday! :-)

Located in Funchal, within 600 metres of Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach and 2.9 km of Formosa Beach, Vila Vicência provides accommodation with a bar and free WiFi. Location was great. Lots of restaurants nearby. Short walk to the ocean

Aquest hotel de luxe està situat a Funchal i ofereix vista panoràmica sobre l'oceà Atlàntic. Disposa de piscina exterior i coberta, spa i habitacions amb balcó i TV per cable. Room is comfortable. We really liked saunas and indoor pool, saunas are for extra fee. 5 euros. Outdoor pools were heated. Breakfast is regular. But dinners were very good. No regrets we took it. Thank you.

Aquest hotel està situat a només 5 minuts a peu de la costa de Funchal i a poques passes d'un parc públic i del passeig marítim. Nice hotel with exceptional sea view in some of the rooms (and pretty ok seaview in the others). Walking distance to Lido beach, 10 minutes by bus to Funchal center, shops and good restaurants nearby.
