Situated in the centre of Queens, LIC Plaza Hotel is located 4.1 km from St Patrick's Cathedral and 4.2 km from Rockefeller Center. This 3-star hotel offers room service and luggage storage space. Amazing view. For the breakfast there was a lot of food to choose, like waffels, eggs, ham, cheese, vegetable, yoghurt or fruits. The bed was really spacious and comfortable. Location was great, it is near 3 metro stations and really near to the city centre-Manhattan.

Situated conveniently in the Long Island City district of Queens, Wingate by Wyndham Long Island City is set 5.4 km from Rockefeller Center, 5.5 km from Central Park and 5.5 km from Chrysler Building.... The subway is quite close, and the Roosevelt island also. The selection of breakfast is not much, but it is better then the average in NY. Stuff is nice and helpful.

Ideally situated in the middle of Queens, Hyatt Place Long Island City offers free WiFi and a fitness centre. Always clean, new looking, fantastic location, comfy beds, great service and breakfast included. Zero complaints!

Feather Factory Hotel offers accommodation in Long Island City. All rooms are fitted with a TV with cable channels. All rooms include a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. Friendly staff, excellent location (I totally disagree with other comments claiming that the walk to the subway is long - it isn't, and it's a nice walk; plenty of restaurants in the vicinity and numerous transport links. We especially enjoyed taking the Q32 bus directly across the bridge to Central Park - very safe, never crowded, and a great way to interact with the locals! To reach the Q32 bus, walk to the right when exiting the hotel, go up the road, then turn right, walk straight two blocks, catch the bus by the gas station - super easy and fun.

Its closer to the city that i thought. Took the subway late at night and the area felt safe. The bed was big and comfortable I would reccomend..

Ideally set in the centre of Queens, SpringHill Suites by Marriott New York Queens is within 5 km of St Patrick's Cathedral and 5.2 km of Rockefeller Center. The hotel was very clean and I always saw someone cleaning. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was also great! Our favorite part was the hot cocoa bar
