Fabulous hotel. Amazing location. Loved the linen and the beds! And the L’occitane toiletries! Only thing would have been nice to have complimentary bottle of water in the rooms!

Located next to the Funk Zone in Santa Barbara, the Hotel Californian is just steps from the beach and features an outdoor pool. Everything was great ! Room is clean , very comfortable. Location good.

Þetta nútímalega hótel er í aðeins 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Stearns Wharf og Santa Barbara-ströndinni. Ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet er í boði. The staff was nice and the room was clean and modern. The wifi was fast, so I could work from the room. I took Amtrak to SB, and the hotel is literally across the street, about a 2 minute walk. Would stay here again.

The hotel was in a good location - just a short walk to the seafront and downtown Santa Barbara. The hotel is really quite quirky - with some lovely decoration and a funky feel. Liked the shared space downstairs in reception where there was an honesty bar and where a simple breakfast was served (tea, coffee, juice, some fruit, bagels and pastries). We hadnt expected this so was a nice extra. There was also a big fridge and freezer where guests could keep own items as there was nothing in the room for this. There was a really nice outside area with comfy seating, a clean pool, table tennis table. The room itself was comfy and my son (12) loved sleeping in the murphy bed which pulled down over the main double bed. Had a really nice welcome and the offer of a complimentary drink on arrival from a very lovely member of staff/owner (Derek?)
