Casa Del Sonder is located in the trendy De Waterkant, just a 10-minute walk from the city centre. It has a rooftop terrace with a plunge pool and a 360 degree view of the city and Table Mountain. Beautifully renovated and curated hotel in a great location and ran by lovely people.

Occupying a central position in the Bo Kaap district of Cape Town, the 4-star boutique hotel Rouge on Rose is located within easy walking distance of the city centre and the V&A Waterfront. Superb boutique hotel. From the moment I made the booking the owners were extremely helpful making suggestions for our trip. While staying there they were available all the time to assist with maps, locations, taxis etc. The breakfast was excellent and the man running the breakfast service was brilliant! The room was spacious with everything we could need. I highly recommend this hotel.

Designed to cater for tourists as well as business executives, La Rose is an diverse blend of French, Indian, Cape Malay and African influences, where old world and modern embrace. Rooftop terrace was amazing, but my favourite part was breakfast. Sitting at one long table and chatting with the owner and other guests was lovely.

The property is central and newly renovated. Heidi has given a lot of attention to detail on what might be needed, it’s a real home away from home. Our breakfasts on the rooftop terrace were a lovely start to the day with coffee and pastries we sourced from the local cafes.
