City Lodge Hotel Bryanston is set in Johannesburg, 5 km from Sandton City Shopping Centre and 14 km from Johannesburg Stadium. Every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Conveniently close to St Stitians school for the sporting events. I enjoyed the lounge dining room area, and had a lovely pizza supper. The breakfast buffet looked amazing but sadly that was not included, so as a single guest paying R1020 a night, I think breakfast could have been included in the price. I actually thought breakfast was included when I booked. Those that had the buffet breakfast loved it, but at around R160 (I cant remember the exact price) , it was not worth it for me as dont eat meat so probably would just have had the scrambled eggs. All staff are nice. Love the outside pool courtyard area. Hope to be back there next year.

Never thought there'd be such a calm, peaceful, serene piece of land in the middle of Bryanston. You have to be there to believe it. We were treated to an upgrade of the room we booked and also had a delicious, filling breakfast. They have streaming services for entertainment and electric blankets for the cold winter. Penny was a great host as well and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. In the cold morning we found that she'd lit up the fireplace by the breakfast table. Amazing establishment. Sitting on the balcony and listening to trees whispering I'm the wind was so calming. It's a really serene place.

Great place to be in Johannesburg. Very peaceful but close enough to get around. We were upgraded to a bigger room (many thanx for that!) to accommodate better our group of 4, which was very nice. Great breakfast on the terrace with a look over the very nice garden, beautifully maintained. Very good communication.
