The little house was great! Very spacious and with beautiful bathroom. Feld very private! We also ordered dinner barbeque – great experience that we suggest. The host was very helpful – organising our safari and also helping to get to public bus t continue our trip to Weligama.

Everything is perfect at Tribe Yala. It is an incredible and unique glamping experience. The “tents” (it is more of a 5 star hotel suite) are clean, spacious, fully equipped (private wifi and AC) and comfortable. We also had a private jacuzzi. Besides, the food is exceptional (one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). We did the one day safari and it was certainly one of our favorite days of our entire trip. You get to see many animals while being accompanied by a wildlife specialist (ours was Kusar and he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Staff from the hotel met us inside the national park to bring us a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Finally, the staff of the hotel is amazing. Thank you Rua and Latchan for your friendliness and professionalism. We will come back for sure!

It seems like we are in the forest when we lived in leopard camp.monkeys jump on the trees,the peacock calls from time to time,butterfly always flying around us.it's like a fairtale world. Staffs are all hospitable and helpful,thinking ahead of us. The bed is dry and comfortable. It has to be appreciated the safari.That is a amazing trip.guided actually professional,we recognized many birds,saw the leopard as we wished. All in all,the leopard camp is valuable camp in Yala.

First ask yourself what is the reason you want to be here - if you are here for the nature alone, Nilantha is the best person you can stay with and who you SHOULD take as a guide with you to the safari. He has a degree in biology , fluent English and knows so much about the local fauna and flora so a full day safari doesn’t get boring (which I can imagine can if you only take a driver with you). He is a true believer in ecotourism and is giving back to local communities. If you are here for a fancy dinner and facilities, go somewhere else. This is a simple stay in the jungle. And one more thing to add - your guide is not responsible for how many animals you’ll see BUT we were lucky and he for sure knows some spots where they MIGHT appear. And last but not least- Nilantha is a great and nice person we had a chance to meet :)

Our family recently visited Makini Bush Camp and we had an amazing time. The staff's kindness and helpfulness made our stay truly special. the treehouse and tent are a perfect place to calm down and enjoy nature. the owner was very involved from the moment we booked, making sure we drove the most efficient way and even picked us up when we arrived in a town nearby. they also took us on safari and went above and beyond making sure we saw as much wildlife as possible. also we enjoyed the bbq dinner (prepared by his son) at their place. truly an unforgettable experience which we highly recommend!

Un des plus bel hotel jamais fait. Un niveau de service extraordinaire. Vous êtes en plein milieu de la nature. Vous êtes pris en charge de votre arrivée jusqu'à votre départ. Le prix comprend l'ensemble des repas et des activités. Le diner était organisé sur pilotis près du lac, fabuleux. N'ayant pas vu de léopard en fin de journée, l'équipe nous a proposé de repartir le lendemain à 5h, puis nous avons enchainé avec une balade en kayak sur le lac au milieu des oiseaux et des crocodiles. A notre retour nous attendait le petit déjeuner servie sur la terrasse dans l'arbre. Tout simplement magique. Un immense merci à l'équipe de Kulu pour leurs petites attentions et leur grand niveau de service.

Amazing property, the Tent is a very cozy room and the staff was amazing. Uditha received super well and helped us with everything we needed. We stayed 3 nights and 2 days, and had a very early safari in both days. Uditha provided a breakfast for us to bring along and eat in our safari, and gave many tips about the region. We had pré-booked our safaris and lunch already, but if you need they can arrange for safaris and/or lunch as well. On the morning of our checkout we also did a nice bush walk around the property to say our goodbyes to Yala. The rooms have air conditioning, fan, hairdryer and good wifi. Definitely will recommend to friends that come to visit the Yala National Park!
