The little house was great! Very spacious and with beautiful bathroom. Feld very private! We also ordered dinner barbeque – great experience that we suggest. The host was very helpful – organising our safari and also helping to get to public bus t continue our trip to Weligama.

Everything is perfect at Tribe Yala. It is an incredible and unique glamping experience. The “tents” (it is more of a 5 star hotel suite) are clean, spacious, fully equipped (private wifi and AC) and comfortable. We also had a private jacuzzi. Besides, the food is exceptional (one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). We did the one day safari and it was certainly one of our favorite days of our entire trip. You get to see many animals while being accompanied by a wildlife specialist (ours was Kusar and he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Staff from the hotel met us inside the national park to bring us a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Finally, the staff of the hotel is amazing. Thank you Rua and Latchan for your friendliness and professionalism. We will come back for sure!

Выбрали кемпинг, потому что понравилась задумка. Это не отель 5 звезд, это палатка посреди джунглей, в которой насколько возможно созданы условия для проживания. Есть кондиционер, есть туалет и душ. Стоят кровати. Но все же это не отель и нужно осознавать, что ждать уровня отеля не стоит. Дополнительно кэмпинг предлагает выбрать питание по меню и сафари по джунглям. Питание вкусное. Обед был из национальной шри ланкийской еды. Ужин был как ресторан под открытым небом из 5 блюд. Основное блюдо - барбекю, был суп, салат, десерт, мороженное и напитки на выбор. Порции просто огромные. Готовят очень вкусно. Персонал очень приветливый, очень заботливый. Пока мы добирались до места встречи, у нас пропал интернет и мы никак не могли найти лагерь, за нами прислали машину. При встрече угостили приветственным напитком и дали освежающее влажное холодное полотенце. Провели подробную инструкцию о технике безопасности в лагере. Сафари стартовало из лагеря. Гид очень грамотная, показала нам буквально всех животных острова. Леопарда за 2 выезда мы нашли!

First ask yourself what is the reason you want to be here - if you are here for the nature alone, Nilantha is the best person you can stay with and who you SHOULD take as a guide with you to the safari. He has a degree in biology , fluent English and knows so much about the local fauna and flora so a full day safari doesn’t get boring (which I can imagine can if you only take a driver with you). He is a true believer in ecotourism and is giving back to local communities. If you are here for a fancy dinner and facilities, go somewhere else. This is a simple stay in the jungle. And one more thing to add - your guide is not responsible for how many animals you’ll see BUT we were lucky and he for sure knows some spots where they MIGHT appear. And last but not least- Nilantha is a great and nice person we had a chance to meet :)

Our family recently visited Makini Bush Camp and we had an amazing time. The staff's kindness and helpfulness made our stay truly special. We were thrilled to witness incredible wildlife sightings, including graceful elephants, playful monkeys, and colorful birds. And the highlight of our trip was a breathtaking leopard sighting that left us in awe. The service provided was exceptional, and the staff went out of their way to engage our children. The cozy tented chalet allowed us to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of a clean and well-maintained accommodation. We recommend Makini for families seeking a remarkable safari adventure with top-notch service and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

the treehouse and tent are a perfect place to calm down and enjoy nature. the owner was very involved from the moment we booked, making sure we drove the most efficient way and even picked us up when we arrived in a town nearby. they also took us on safari and went above and beyond making sure we saw as much wildlife as possible. also we enjoyed the bbq dinner (prepared by his son) at their place. truly an unforgettable experience which we highly recommend!

Kulu Safaris is a completely exceptional place to stay in every way and it was the highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Our guide, Jeana, was very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan wildlife and a lovely person, we learnt a lot from talking to her on our safaris. We also went kayaking on the lake which was beautiful. The tents are so comfortable to stay in and it's a very peaceful location, surrounded by nature. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and we were served our meals in different locations around the site, which was beautiful and very romantic. It is expensive, but the safari and other activities is included, as well as all food and drink, and so I think it is definitely worth the money, particularly as Kulu is very eco-conscious and ensures minimal disruption to the wildlife. Overall, I couldn't recommend staying at Kulu more highly, and I hope to go back one day.

— Прежде всего, команда отеля — до заезда помогли с организацией трансфера на джипе от ближайшей асфальтированной дороги, организацией сафари, во время пребывания были внимательны, заботливы и очень учтивы. — Необычная концепция домиков и отеля в целом: все шатры уеденены в джунглях, красивые пейзажи, богатая фауна. — Очень вкусная еда. Мы останавливались по системе «Полный пансион», смогли попробовать и завтрак, и обед, и ужин (праздничный новогодний) — всё было очень вкусно.

The location is one of a kind. After we switched into a 4x4 we traveled down a bumpy track to the beautiful location amongst the trees and in the middle of the forest. Staff were very helpful getting our bags up to the tree house. The location isn’t for everyone as it’s fairly remote but very close to yala national park. Food at the hotel was great. On the evening we had a BBQ that was outside in a candle lit location. Food was good and service great. The accommodation is amazing but obviously this is glamping and so we had a lizard or two surprise us but was definitely part of the fun. The safari organised by the team was great. Charging around the park in a jeep looking at all the animals was fantastic. Great stay
