My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge in the Greater Kruger area in South Africa, and it was, without a doubt, one of the most remarkable experiences of our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the lodge and its surroundings. The lodge perfectly blends luxury and nature, offering an authentic yet comfortable safari experience. Accommodation: The rooms were beautifully appointed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Waking up to the sounds of nature and the sight of the stunning landscape right from our window was a daily delight. Staff: The staff at Milima Big 5 went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. They were attentive, friendly, and always available to assist with anything we needed. Food: The culinary experience was a highlight in itself. Each meal was a delightful adventure, with a variety of delicious dishes that catered to all tastes. The quality and presentation of the food were exceptional, adding to the overall luxury of our stay. Wildlife Experience: The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the wildlife. Guided by our fantastic guide, Sydney, we embarked on thrilling game drives, witnessing an abundance of animals in their natural habitat. Sydney's knowledge and passion for wildlife enriched our experience, making each sighting more special. Milima Big 5 Safari Lodge is more than just a place to stay; it's a gateway to a magical and unforgettable safari adventure. We left with hearts full of joy and memories that will last a lifetime. The setting was spectacular. It is out of the way and a bit difficult to find if self-driving. However, once there, the drive is worth the effort. Wild open area. Friendly staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Room large and charming with comfortable bed.

the game drives and viewing the hippos, while having a wine and some snacks. also the luxury tent with our private pool. amazing. food was also good. the hospitality and the service were amazing. very friendly and helpful staff.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and friendly. They also arranged for us all kind of activates to make our stay a great experience. The food was very good, The vibe is very calm and relax to come back after long day of wild life in the bush.

We could not have made a better choice of lodge. The lodge is small (max 10 people), the food is great, the staff is lovely, the surroundings are very peaceful and quiet and the safari’s were unforgettable. We spotted lions, a leopard, zebras, giraffes, elephants and much more. We were extremely surprised but the quality of the food and drinks and the lovely ambiance and attentiveness of the staff at the camp. 10/10 experience all-round.

Too good for one night. This also applies to the Budget Room, where you can still use kitchen, living room and veranda. There are buffalo and other wildlife in the park and occasionally leopards. It is the perfect transition to the Kruger National Park, or rather the weaning from it.

Game drives, Never and Mateo's excellent knowledge and personalities. They truly provided a once in a lifetime experience for us, getting close to animals and doing their best to take on any requests. Their local perspective, knowledge and stories added a unique twist compared to other game drives we've done. Never was the outgoing friendly Energetic personality while Mateo added a sense of safety in the bush. As mentioned they both have outstanding knowledge. Never's game drives are like a fun learning experience while driving through the African bush. Mateo has many years of experience in tracking and we enjoyed his in depth knowledge. Breakfast and lunches and service by Munya. Pool area Pick up service from the airport. Birding around the camp Air conditioning in the room

Excellent service from from Kristian and Jenni, they definitely went over and above to provide outstanding service, the food was beautiful and very tasty, the staff was very friendly and professional, always willing to help and the rooms were very neat. The bush walks, night fires camps and game drive were very fun and beautiful, it was a pleasure booking with them. In summary , it was a fun experience of a luxury camping. Definitely do it again
