Minimarketista saatiin myös tuliaisia. Saunassa oli oikein hyvät löylyt. Kiitos ystävällisen ja koko ajan saatavilla olevan henkilökunnan, meillä oli hieno reissu, tullaan varmasti uudestaan!

A truly unique experience in a special part of the world. From booking to check-out, the process was smooth and straightforward. Atte, Alexa, and team were responsive, organized, warm, and gracious hosts, and both the basecamp and mobile cabin were spotless and well-outfitted. Note that snow suits and boots are provided for those in need at the basecamp, along with WCs, showers, towels, and space to store any snacks/drinks you might wish to bring with you. While we unfortunately didn't have time to take advantage of any of the activities, we did reserve spaces in the grill hut for a delicious meal and terrific conversation (I'd note that for those interested in ice fishing, Atte is a skilled guide). The mobile cabins themselves were wholly original, compact yet comfortable rooms on runners. They are pulled out on the ice at 8 pm and retrieved at 8 am, giving you many quiet and peaceful hours on the lake with the lights of homes and Inari town in the distance. Our evening was mostly overcast so we saw only one hint of aurora, but one can imagine the show when the sky is clear. We wrapped our visit with a delicious homecooked breakfast back at basecamp. Big thanks to our hosts for all of their care!

Milda and her dog were the perfect hosts, the place is beautiful, the igloo cozy and comfortable, shame we couldn’t see the aurora as it was snowing but we enjoyed our stay!

Located on the island of Vartiosaari, this hotel offers rooms with Finnish design and free WiFi. The island is accessed via a 72 metres long hanging bridge over the river Kemijoki. Absoluetly beautiful, remote enough so you really feel lost in Lapland. Great breakfast as well!

Tässä mökissä on ruokapöytä. Käytettävissä on yhteiskäytössä oleva keittiö. Huomioithan, että yhteiskäytössä olevat kylpyhuoneet sijaitsevat huoltorakennuksessa. Siellä on myös juoksevaa vettä. The proximity to nature trails is fantastic. The place rent snow shoes that are needed for some of the trails. The shared bathroom and kitchen were also great and convenient and super close to the cabin. Our cabin was super cute and cozy. The food at the restaurant was great. The staff is super nice and there are good vibes in this place. There are buses a few times a day to Saariselka. I totally recommend it!

What a lovely cabin a bit outside of Kilpisjärvi! The cabin is located on a small hill with a nice view over the fells. Even the cabin is small, you find everything there you need! Kitchen well equipped, modern bathroom, comfortable beds! Even I arrived before check-in time, they made sure I could already pick up the cabin key.
