Holly Camp Airstream Villa Amami is a detached villa with a garden, located in Amami in the Kagoshima Region. Amami Airport is a 15-minute drive away.

This tent features a balcony, stovetop and air conditioning. A 7-minute ride from Ambo Harbour, Daichan House offers the experience of a stay in a Mongolian yurt (tent), in the tranquil countryside. This was my first time staying in a yurt, and Daichan House did not disappoint! Although we arrived well past sunset, Daichan was very energetic and friendly. After showing us around the property, he gave a little history lesson on Daichan House as well as Yakushima. He prepared a laminated booklet with photos and English descriptions. It was fun to talk with Daichan, which we probably did for over an hour. The yurt and shared restrooms were well-maintained. Free hot water, tea, coffee, and a local mikan orange were also provided :)

Guests will find a refrigerator, kitchenware and an electric kettle in the kitchenette. The tent also provides guests with a barbecue. BBQ dinner is splendid with wagu beef, pork, chicken, scallops, shrimp, mushrooms, vege, etc. Learnt to bake a cake using a BBQ stove. Fully equipped with all necessities. Nice but rather busy Onsen facilities as shared with local people.
