The fireplace is a top feature of this tent. The tent's kitchen, which has a refrigerator and a microwave, is available for cooking and storing food. It is a great place to stay at Kalahari desert on the way to Mata Mata and SA border, with a wonderfull host Peter who wants to share his farm life exerience. The room we booked was very comfortable, spacious, fully equiped and lovely decorated by Hanli. The icing on the cake was meeting a giraffe on our evening walk in the sunset :) Hanli - Thank you for hospitality.

Grunau Country Hotel se află în Grünau și are cazare de 2 stele, o piscină în aer liber, o grădină și un bar. The small, simple room was very clean (and so were the shared toilets/showers). The hotel has made an effort to make the place homey with a bit of decor inside the room and plants/decor throughout the property.. The wind and cold were fierce during our stay, so we were very grateful to have a good heater in our room (and they provide enough blankets). While the WIFI is only available in the reception/bar/restaurant area, it works well. Good to have a reasonably priced restaurant on site, as there are few eating options in Grunau (you can order your meals ahead to be ready at a certain time). We stayed for two nights while visiting Fish River Canyon as it is much more affordable than the places in/nearer the park (unless you are camping).

We had a fantastic time at Torgos Lodge. The location was perfect for us to visit the Kgalagadi TNP as day visitors every day via the Mata Mata border post. The accommodation was fantastic: clean, well-equipped and with amazing views of the wildlife along the dry riverbed. Jaco was a gracious host, looking after us carefully, and Mariam & Sonnety kept us well fed with delicious food. Thanks to them and the team. All in all excellent hosts that really added to the experience - we’re counting down the months until we can return!
