Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya ligt in Bidiyah en biedt gratis WiFi, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant. Alle units hebben een eigen badkamer met douche. Het personeel was ontzettend gastvrij. Chauffeur Zahir heeft veel moeite gedaan om ons op te halen en de overstromingen te trotseren die er door het slechte weer waren. Aangekomen op het kamp zijn we nog heerlijk met quads wezen rijden in de woestijn. Een ervaring om nooit te vergeten. Ze hebben echt hun best gedaan om er het beste van te maken ondanks de slechte weersomstandigheden.

The tent features a private entrance, a seating area, as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower and a bidet. The tent offers a barbecue, a sofa, as well as a terrace and a patio. We stayed only one night, but it was one of our favourite nights in Oman! The campsite is secluded enough - further from the city lights and other camps. You have enough privacy, silence and the sky full of stars. Rashid is a very nice owner, who is very welcoming, attentive, has great sence of humour and is an interesting person to talk to. So prepare all the questions you would like to have answered about Oman and Omanis! The food was great and the dune bashing was sooo much fun! :) Cannot wait to come back for more nights!

The tent's kitchenette, which features kitchenware, is available for cooking and storing food. Said was extremely friendly and helpful. I changed my plan during the stay and he helped me get yo the bus station to go to Muscat. Camp was in a great location. Highly recommend!

Unlike the other camps in the area, Nomadic desert camp is really surrounded by sand dunes. The camp is very authentic. The facilities are all clean and tidy.

Sunrise Desert Local Private Camp is gelegen in Bidiyah en biedt een terras. Deze luxe tent heeft een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. Handdoeken en beddengoed worden bij de luxe tent verstrekt. Locatie heel goed; ver in de woestijn, vlakbij de hoge zandduinen. Zeer vriendelijke gastheer.

The tent offers a barbecue, as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The tent features outdoor furniture. The unit offers 2 beds. We had a magical stay at Crescent Camp. The camp has a smaller amount of tents than others so is more peaceful and a more authentic experience. The tent and beds are clean and comfortable, there is tea, coffee and fruit available 24/7 in the main tent. Dinner and breakfast were lovely and had a variety of options to please everyone. Although some people have mentioned in their reviews that the meals and activities are overpriced, they are more affordable compared to other camps. There are balls and a volleyball net available for children to plan with. We enjoyed a wonderful dune bashing adventure which the whole family loved. It was magical waking at 4am for a bathroom trip and gazing up at the Milky Way above.

Guests will find a stovetop, kitchenware and an oven in the kitchen. The tent also has a barbecue. Everything was perfect. The location was stunning, Khalid and Hamood were very kind and accommodating. Nothing was ever a problem for them. You can chill in the rest/dining area or choose to do one of plenty activities which are available. We stayed 2 nights and it's the perfect length to enjoy the desert fully.

SAFARI-Glamping ligt op 50 km van Wadi Bin Khalid en biedt accommodatie in Bidiyah-20 km in de woestijn van het dorp Al Hawaiyah. Our experience at Safari Glamping was really amazing. We tried a lot of delicious traditional food, rented quad bike from a nearby camp, which is owned by the same person, and he invited us for a dinner at this bigger camp, where we had the opportunity to speak with him about his life as a beduin. The host in our camp was really nice and helpful, prepared fire and a really good food for us and as we were lucky to be alone there, we had a chance to speak with him. The room was really clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We drove to the camp by our 4WD car and it was simple and without any problem. You just need to have your tires deflated beforehand. 100% recommended experience worth the money.

The Alsarmadi Desert Camp is an amazing experience. Our hosts picked us up in the nearby township of Bidiya, and it was only a short 30min drive out to the camp. You are surrounded by sand dunes, but high up enough to enjoy a beautiful sunset/sunrise. The hosts are very welcoming and can organise several activities during your stay in the desert. Some incur extra costs, like camel rides & lunch at a Bedouin camp. Or you can simply enjoy exploring the dunes, like we did. The tents are clean & comfortable, it was the best sleep of our whole trip! And as female travellers we felt safe the whole time. Breakfast & dinner were also delicious. Thank you to Said & his son Alfarooq for a wonderful experience in the desert!
