Situé à Bidiyah, l'Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya est un camping récemment rénové doté d'un salon commun. Cet établissement surveillé toute la journée possède un restaurant et une terrasse bien exposée. The experience was amazing. Staff is great, special thanks to Naim ! Plenty of different activities proposed, we did quad and sandboard and it was such a good time. Food is a buffet with plenty of choices and the room was super clean and really comfortable. They are in the middle of the desert, easy to access by yourself with a 4x4 (even normal car could access, there is a little road to go there in the desert). I do not regret to have choose Salam camp desert. I definitely recommand it !

Rachid nous a très bien accueilli dans son camp. Il a été très sympathique. Le point de rencontre et l'heure ont été bien respectés. Le camp est prévu pour 16 personnes maximum. L'emplacement dans les dunes est parfait. L'accès avec son propre 4x4 est possible en suivant le super guide Rachid. Les repas étaient très bons. La douche et le WC privé étaient directement accessibles depuis la tente. La literie était également parfaite. Nous recommandons fortement ce camp.

Great value for a dune camp-you will pay a lot more for a similar experience, but you will miss out on Said's generous hospitality. The free pickup from the meeting point was greatly appreciated, as I only had a 2WD sedan. Said offers coffee, tea & dates all day, and was always available for a friendly chat. At night, he turns the camp lights off so you can lounge under the stars. The dinner package was delicious, and I assume breakfast was as well, but I brought my own. Before staying, you must know that dune camps involve a certain degree of rustic atmosphere (tents, bathroom stalls), so if you are looking for hotel luxury, then book a place for 10x the price (and it might be similar, anyway). If you want a memorable dune experience with a host who provides a warm welcome and honest value, book here!

Le Nomadic Desert Camp est situé à Al Wāşil. Un parking privé est disponible gratuitement sur place et un service de navette aéroport est assuré moyennant des frais supplémentaires. The camp is located not too close from the nearest village, offering an immersive desert experience. The tents are spacious, clean and nicely decorated and so is the dining area. The staff is helpful, kind and efficient and agreeing pick up was really easy. The buffet was generous with a good and tasty selection of food. The camp offers activities like camel riding and dune safari. We enjoyed both very much. The greatest plus of this camp is that, compared to other structures who might have more of a hotel feel, gives the travellers a authentic and close to nature experience. We would go back and we will recommend it to family and friends.

Le Sultan Private Desert Camp est situé à Bidiyah. Vous pourrez profiter d'une terrasse et d'un parking privé gratuit. Une belle expérience, notamment grâce à notre hôte, qui vit dans le désert et avec lequel nous avons eu un échange authentique et fort sympathique. L’endroit permet d’assister à de magnifiques couchers et levers du soleil, avec une vue superbe sur le désert. Nous avons apprécié le fait qu’il n’y ait que 2 ou 3 tentes, ce qui change des autres camps proposés dans le désert. Le repas et le petit déjeuner étaient délicieux. Pas d’électricité mais toilettes et douches pour chaque tente. Ils proposent également des activités : balade en dromadaire ou en 4x4.

They only have 5 tents isolated from the town, which makes for a more quiet and secluded experience. Dinner was delicious and breakfast much beyond our expectations. Service was impeccable and Faiz was extremely attentive, nice and polite. He truly cares for every single guest and makes sure that you have all that you need. He even stopped to show us a couple of baby camels on our way back to town.

Guests will find a stovetop, kitchenware and an oven in the kitchen. The tent also has a barbecue. There are more camps with more facilities and better prices, but if you are looking for an excellent service and have the best experience in the desert, this is your place. Hamood is a really nice person and fully dedicated to his business, he makes the everything possible to make you feel good. The dinner and breakfast have an additional cost but it is a fair price. it was so delicious, in special the dinner, traditional home made omani food cooked by ahmood's wife. Additionally Hamood share the dinner with you and can have a nice local conversation. Hamood also does a small fire at night with tee with all the guest, it is a special moment before going to sleep. The tent is very comfortable, the shower has a good pressure.

Situé à 50 km de Wadi Bin Khalid, le SAFARI-Glamping propose un hébergement à Bidiyah, à 20 km dans le désert du village d'Al Hawaiyah. Safari Glamping a coché toutes les cases pour une nuit en famille en plein désert. Le lieu est incroyable, un peu en hauteur, très authentique. La cuisine était très bonne, locale et en quantité. La chambre possède toilette, douche et lavabo. Il y a tout le confort nécessaire pour une famille de 4 personnes. Le lieu est très calme et parfait pour découvrir le désert et regarder la voie lactée. Ahmed nous a emmené au camp dans son 4x4: nous avons eu droit à une session de pilotage dans les dunes. Ahmed est très accueillant et bienveillant.

Said and his time were incredibly warm and eager to share the desert / omani culture with their guests. Truly went extra mile to ensure we could try fresh dates, camel milk amongst other food items! Dinner / breakfast were decent, tents were comfortable. Experience felt very close to nature / omani people compared to other camps we passed by. Our desert tour was wonderful, passing by Bedouin people and many camels!
