We had a dinner also with this view. The rooms are pretty, all made us to feel good!! We had a small Kia Picanto rental car, very small one. Luckily it was not rainy season, so it was no problem to go up with this car, we had to drive slow and carefully and all was fine!!! The hotel is not far from Addo National Park, so before heading there we made a 2 hour driving from the northern entrance of the park and we saw many elephants and other animals.

The Port Elizabeth Airport is 88 km away.... We had a great time at the Safari Lodge. Food was great, staff was super friendly and always helpful, wonderful reserve and awesome ranger. Highly recommend it!

Located in the heart of the Amakhala Game Reserve, Woodbury Tented Camp offers an authentic outdoor experience in safari tents. The camp overlooks the ancient floodplain of the Bushmans River. Gorgeous tented camp set in a lush area, lovely main building with excellent meals served by friendly, attentive staff, tents set off individually for privacy, each with a sweeping view of the preserve. Our guide, Lenny, was very experienced and we learned much about the many animals we saw - lion, cheetah, elephant, rhino, giraffe, many kinds of antelope, warthog, more! We did 6 3 -hour drives; suggest booking enough time to do at least 4-6.

Situated in the Amakala Big Five Game Reserve, Bush Lodge offers an intimate lodge experience. It features an outdoor swimming pool, viewing deck and a number of game drives and bush walks. I absolutely loved everything about this stay! All of the staff were so attentive, friendly and professional. They really made me feel at home. All of the little touches and attention to detail were so appreciated and made the stay extra special. The setting was idyllic, the ‘tent’ was lovely and comfortable and the food was delicious. The game drives blew my mind. I still can’t believe all of the animals we were able to see. I kept track and we saw 62 different animals over the 6 drives! The interactions were just incredible. That was thanks to Jono Vision! Jono’s passion and enthusiasm for the animals and his commitment to making sure we were well taken care of was next level. This was my very first safari and the bar has been set high! Thanks to all who made it such a great stay!

This colonial-style tent features a private deck with outdoor seating and military campaign-style furniture. The bathroom comes with a shower. I loved the feeling of being in the REAL Africa… like I really was in a 1920’s safari camp! I loved the staff.. so knowledgeable, friendly and kind. ..I felt like I was staying with friends. The safaris were EXCELLENT! Not only did I see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos and rhinos, I learned a great deal about the animals and the environment.

It comes with tea -and-coffee-making facilities, a fan and safety deposit box. absolutely amazing place! everything is just PERFECT! we stayed in really nice and luxurious places so far, but Gorah was an absolutely exceptional experience. The camp, the tent, the staff, the game drives, the food, everything was just awesome! The Gorah family puts in SO much love and there were so many details that made this stay so special! We had the best time at Gorah Camp and would come back anytime!

Located at the Tree Tops Safari Lodge, perched high on thatched platforms with decked walkways. This tree top, thatched-roof luxury tent offers a private balcony with panoramic views of the valley. Everything was just perfect. The rooms. The Service. The food. The safaris with Nel. So interesting to learn about nature and animals. She she did the safari with so much passion, professionalism and so much fun. Exceptional. We had the best time ever. We stayed for two nights but it felt like a week. Nothing to add. If any chance we would love to come back anytime.

This spacious tent has a wooden deck with outdoor furniture and panoramic views of the African Plains. It is equipped with a sitting area, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, a heater and minibar. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with incredible hospitality from all staff members. Although a small team, they went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were met and exceeded all of our expectations. The facilities and room were absolutely beautiful. Private and quiet, very comfortable bed and warm bath robes. Lovely bath with an outside shower and bath salts provided next to the bath. An electric blanket kept us warm during the night and waterproof ponchos and blankets were provided on the game drive. We were met with hot towels and hot chocolate after our very chilly game drive which was very well received. The cuisine was excellent and beautifully presented. Thank you to all the wonderful staff members for an unforgettable experience.
