These tented suites feature a private wooden deck and an en suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Our whole stay felt very warm. The staff, the room, and the food exceeded all of our expectations. We had a great time doing the game drives. The reserve is so beautiful, with great animals roaming around happily. I think the highlight of the stay was the staff and the service so much warmth and love. Definitely the peak of our honeymoon trip. Oh yeah and the food is so so good!!!

These luxury tents are situated on the side of the Simonsberg Mountain, with views of the Franschhoek, Paarl and the Drakenstein mountain ranges. Each tent features a private deck with sun loungers. Beautiful and very well equipped cottages. The staff were extremely helpful. Good food & the wine tasting experience is highly recommended.

Situated on a game farm with a variety of wildlife, Hartenbos Private Game Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, and games room with billiards, table tennis and darts facilities. What an amazing place to stay! You can see the animals from the lodge, if you are lucky you might see a hippo... we did the safari and had lunch/breakfast over there. Both were great!! We felt like a part of the family here and were sad to leave... We recommend this of you want to be away from the busy world and if you adore nature in a calm, superfriendly atmosphere .

It was our second time there. The ice-cream they sell is the best in the whole world. Their baby cows are so cute. The bubble bath is just to die for - really so wonderful. Surrounded by Karoo fynbos and within a few metres of the watering hole, these luxury tents provide an elevated view of the lodge and the surroundings. Fabulous tents so well equipped and great to be on edge of dam, although very noisy with birds. Great food and staff. Good to see the wildlife conservation, went to see lions being fed
