Location of the property is very central but private enough as well to have a relaxing stay. Hotel is brand new and the rooms are very comfy and all made out of wood which gives it a nice home rustic vibe. Great value for what you’re paying. Super recommended!

Hashan the owner treated us as his own guests. He is very generous and hospitable. The food was very delicious and authentic. Haputale is very calm place and less touristy than Ella. I loved it more than Ella. It is surrounded by tea plantations, and very ery close to Horton Plains and Lipton’s seat. The hotel arranged trips for us to those places and to Udawalawe National Park. The roads around the hotel are great for trekking.

Just a view rooms which make the stay very familiarly. The host is so nice, he was available to answer any questions. He also organised us a taxi to our next accommodation.

But the rooms are very big than 5 star hotels. It's a family business. Very good friendly staff and home made food. Price is very reasonable. The rooms charges are very reasonable. I recommend for enyone going to haputhale stay here.
