I loved the location by a super sweet waterfall to swim in. The staff were very friendly. They had scooters for rent. There was a super nice breakfast buffet. It was very quiet.

Great family run place in a small fishing village. The room is clean, comfortable, and a great value, including a nice breakfast. Highly recommend a visit. You do need a motorbike to get around the islands.

Set 1.5 km from Ao Tapao Beach, Dara Homestay offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. It is located 2.5 km from Ao Noi Beach and offers a minimarket. Everything was AMAZING! The villas were super clean, the facilities were incredible and the ladies cleaned the room everyday and they were always as clean as if they were never used. The breakfast was amazing and you can ask for eggs, or a delicious coconut milk with fruit and granola, freshly made. Staff was super attentive, helpful and made sure to reply to every one of my messages and requests. I truly can say only good things about the entire experience, which was my best hotel experience in my entire life!

Ao Salat View Koh Kood offers accommodation in Ban Ao Salat, 10 km from Taphao Beach and 13 km from Klong Chao Beach. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Rooms come with a flat-screen TV. The location is secluded but that is what makes it special and the views from the front rooms are a amazing. The restaurant is only open in the morning and early evening but sells good food at a good price along with cold beers. The pier is walkable for very fresh seafood and some shops for basic supplies. There is a nice swimming pool and you can use the kayaks for free and bikes are for hire which you will need to go to the beach and explore the rest of the island. The resort is run by a lovely young lady and family and she can speak reasonable English for any advice and onward travel. We had a sea facing bungalow which was very spacious and room to hang your clothes. A large bathroom with a good hot shower. TV, fridge and kettle with 2 bottles of water provided daily The room was cleaned every 2 days (although bedding and towels not really necessary). We ended up staying a week longer than planned!

Fabulous place to stay, I’ve been coming back now for over 7 years, and have seen the hard work and dedication that Jay the owner has put into the place. The rooms are huge and immaculately clean, Netflix Tv if you do fancy a night in. Lovely peaceful location amongst swaying palms trees. Beaches & restaurants are close by and easily accessible by motorbike, which you can rent on site and are all super safe and new. Highly recommend.

Boasting sea views, I-Lay House Koh Kood features accommodation with water sports facilities, a garden and a terrace, around a few steps from Ao Phrao Beach. The minute I arrived here I fell in love with this location. Why? You can feel the owners passion and love they have put in creating a unique place on earth. It is so well made and situated at the most perfect beach (I did a tour with the bike and there are some smaller, secluded ones but this is still one of the best). They offer you stand-up paddle boards and kayaks for free. I stayed two nights in the glamping area and the tent is just perfect for solo travelers. It’s large enough to stand, and has a fan and a comfortable bed and mosquito net. You can hear nothing but the ocean and it’s laterally a 10 meter walk to take a dip in the ocean. The shared bathroom and showers are very well made and clean - of course it still is a camping and there will be animals like ants. I also stayed 1 night at a room with AC as no more tent was available - and this was made with love too and offered much more luxury than the tent. Also I have to mention that the food is just amazing - unfortunately I did not have a chance to try everything but every dish was a highlight. Also a must try is the mango smoothie. Last but not least the team there is so friendly and nice. They take care of everything and are so helpful. From renting a scooter to organizing trips to recommending other restaurant. In short: don’t miss this place - it’s a little oasis and you will fall in love with it too if you are not into big resorts. Thanks for letting me experience this!
