BlackRock is a lodge set in Stalden in the Canton of Valais Region and is 24 km from Zermatt. It provides free private parking. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. The host of this place Otto is a very energetic, hospitable and generous person. He tries not just meet your expectations, but exceed them, that’s why we felt like very welcomed guests. Otto picked us up from the train station, drove to supermarket in Visp, and he also offered to drive us to nice cosy restaurant in mountains but we decided not to go and relax in lodge. We had everything - fridge full with food, Lindt chocolates and drinks, 2 big TVs with Netflix, nice terrace, great sound system, comfortable bed and as a present to bring home - bottle of champaign. It was great stay and we hope to return again! Thank you, Otto!

This chalet-style hotel is located in the centre of Zermatt, within 500 metres of Zermatt Train Station and all cable cars. The Weisshorn’s restaurant serves Swiss cuisine and Valais specialities. Outstanding location, comfortable and spacious room with balcony. Shared bathroom was very clean with a brilliant shower. Breakfast was high quality. Overall a brilliant stay.

Located directly at the Fiescheralp Cable Car Station and in the Aletsch Ski and Hiking Area, Alpenlodge Kühboden offers ski-to-door access in winter and panoramic views of the Valais Alps. Excellent staff, they were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Hotel Europe is located in the village Zinal, amongst the Swiss Alps and 400 metres from the cable car. Set on 1675 metres above sea level, this hotel offers a hot tub and rooms with a balcony. Basically everything but the highlights were: The included access to the spa, the welcoming and kind receptionist who allowed us to use the facilities the next day even we have the possibility of the check out. The view of the mountains, nice restaurant, delicious breakfast. Comfy room and bed. Overall amazing value for money.

A hegyvidéki stílusú, bájos, erkélyes szobákat kínáló Hotel Alpina épülete a Wallisi-Alpokban, egy csendes falu, Grimentz területén, a Grimentz - Zinal felvonóval szemben helyezkedik el, a sípályáktól... Everything was great at Alpina! It was a very cozy hotel at a very reasonable price. Location was perfect and literally right across the street from the gondola and walking distance to the grocery store, ski stores, and other restaurants. Hotel and restaurant staff was wonderful (especially Summer), the spa was amazing, ski room was very convenient, view from the room was beautiful, and the food at the restaurant was very good. Also, no issues with noise - the walls seemed quite thick. The spa was a really great feature (and free!) - we would book the time we wanted to go the night before and it was the perfect way to wind down after skiing (steam room, sauna, hot tub, spa beds). We are very pleased with our experience staying here and will definitely be coming back if we plan to ski again in Switzerland. We have already been telling friends and family to come stay here! Thank you Summer and co. for being a wonderful hosts to us!!

This hotel in Ausserberg, on the southern slope of the Lötschberg mountain, offers you Alpine-style rooms and free Wi-Fi. automated check-in was simple and easy but I wish they bad instructions in english. it is a very simple hotel, by the train station and there are no shops or restaurants nearby. The rooms were very clean and the view was gorgeous.
