Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. We had an amazing stay here. When we arrived we actually got upgraded into the Namib Naukluft Lodge, which is just around the corner and has the same owners. Staff was absolutely wonderful and super helpful. Dinner was superb and very healthy. Eating under the stars in absolute quiet and tranquility was an amazing experience!

These spacious, air-conditioned bungalows feature warm décor and local touches. Situated near the Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park, the lodge has an outdoor swimming pool with a shaded seating area. The quality of the Deluxe - Chalets was superb! With the possibility to sleep on your own rooftop and see all the stars, it is unique. The infinity pool with a view into the Namib-Naukluft Park, the sunset game drive, the exceptional food, the superb service of everybody, including our repaired tire - we can only recommend this lodge! We will be back!

One of the most amazing places we've stayed! Absolutely beautiful, perfect room, great to see the giraffe and oryx. Nice walking trail. Fabulous breakfast. Staff really friendly. Easy drive from Windhoek. We would love to come back and stay again!!

The Rooms and the facility are designed with love for EVERY detail. The staff is extremely competent and friedly. The food is amazing and with huge variety. Great wines! This is one of the best places we have ever stayed at with amazing value for this price!

Situated in the Solitaire Region, The Desert Grace is 30 km south of Solitaire and 60 km north of Sesriem. A buffet-style dinner and breakfast can be enjoyed at the onsite restaurant. What a Beautiful place !! Exceeded our expectations! Loved everything! The staff was friendly and very helpful. The dune drive , e-bikes , hikes and Scorpion walk was excellent!! Will always remember this beautiful “ Pink” Lodge in the Desert… strongly recommended!!

Located south of Solitaire, Namib Naukluft Lodge is set on the private Nam Nau Habitat. Backed by granite hills, the lodge offers an outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant. Stopped for the night on our way to Swakopmund. Room was nice and big for a family of 4. Excellent wifi and water pressure which is a huge plus for such an isolated place. Food at the lodge is also very good. From our verandar we were able to see animals roaming the plains and wildebeests drinking from the waterhole. Sunset rock on the property is also a nice spot to see the surrounding area and makes for great pics and viewing. The best part about the property is the way the staff treat and care for you during the stay. Only regret about this lodge is that we only stayed for a night.

Offering a garden, Rooisand Desert Ranch offers accommodation on the C26 in Chausib, approximately half-way between Walvis Bay and Windhoek. Free private parking is available on site. It was wonderful to stay at the Rooisand Desert Ranch, which is a great location in a very beautiful area near the Gamsberg Nature Reserve and mountain (approximately 10 km away but in easy viewing distance). The ranch is a natural stop for people traveling between Windhoek and the coast and/or desert. The area has a very clear sky at night, and people sometimes come from afar to watch the stars. There is a path / dirt road to a viewing / stargazing platform a few kilometers from the ranch. It is within easy walking distance, but it is also possible to drive there. I went for a random morning walk in in the neighboring hills and encountered several zebra, springboks and many different kinds of birds. The management and staff were very hospitable and welcoming.
