We recently had the pleasure of staying at Tongo Hills Cottages, and were blown away by this hidden gem. From the incredible mountain views to the warm hospitality (Zenia, Rosalie, Ate Marcel, the owners-Caroline...everyone!), our time at Tongo exceeded every expectation. We stayed in one of the cozy bahay kubos 'Adelfa', which featured beautiful native hardwood details, bamboo decor, and luxurious modern amenities like WiFi and hot shower. The room was spotless and the beds were surprisingly comfortable despite being small (my partner is Dutch). We also loved the cute attention to detail and add ons like: locally-made soap&shampoo bars, movie & bonfire nights.

We felt like staying with friends, who had all the local knowledge and tips for activities/food around the area. We really appreciated the amazing vegan option for breakfast as well. Special mention to local dogs, cats and geckos for the warm welcome as well!

He was always checking in to make sure you were comfortable or had everything you need, and was always around to answer questions. He even waited with me for over an hour in the rain while I waited for my bus! The bungalows are small but cozy, and just steps away from a lovely beach.

Located in a beautiful garden with lots of flowers , birds and butterflies. Great restaurant. Great host. Close to the birdwatching spots. The food is soooo good, maybe the best breakfast in asia?

FN Lodge - town proper ligger i Palompon i regionen Visayas och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. It is walking distance to everything, although riding a pedicab is also a good option as it is cheap. Internet is very good!

Skott's Comfy Lodge ligger i Bantayan ö i regionen Visayas, en kort bit från Bobel strand, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, en grill, en trädgård och gratis privat parkering. Superfina rum och med en underbar personal. Jag och min man hade en total avkopplande och underbar vecka på detta hotell. Det låg en bit från lilla staden, så man kunde åka tuk tuk eller gå in själva som vi gjorde. Vi åt på en restaurang varje kväll som heter Aloha Tiki och hade så supergod mat till bra pris.
