De tar oftast inte heller ett nej som ett svar. Det är inget fel med det i sig. Faktum är att detta kan vara en fantastisk och rolig upplevelse för de som gillar prutar-kulturer samt ser det som en sport att navigera igenom. Men för vissa västerlänningar vars huvudsyfte är att stressa ner på sin semester, så kan denna "kulturkrock" ge motsatt effekt. Steigenberger Nile Palace är det perfekta hotellet för en paus från denna hektiska miljön nämnd ovan. Det är en stor yta att visats fritt kring och självfallet är ingen här påträngande eller har avsikt att störa eller jaga dig runt området bara för att försöka sälja på dig nånting. All personal är väldigt trevliga och har ett fantastiskt bemötande. Du känner dig välkommen och gott omhändertagen oavsett tid på dygnet.

Hotel is one floor of the building. Small and cozy with large rooms. Very helpful staff. Wonderful view from rooftop terrace and lunch options at rooftop restaurant. Excellent air conditioning. Location: right off the public ferry dock. Near small stores, pharmacy etc. It’s Egypt don’t expect an immaculate and all new building for this bargain price.

The fact that you meet a lot of people from different cultures , origins is great They all care about all what you need and make your dreams come true :-)

Jewel of the Valley Howard Carter Guest House "Howard Carter Guest House" erbjuder lyxigt boende i Luxor. Här erbjuds gratis Wi-Fi i allmänna utrymmen. Luxortemplet ligger 2,2 km bort. This place is a slice of paradise, during our whole Egypt trip (hurghada,cairo,aswan,luxor) a lot of the places had awesome sites to see but the accomodation still had the noise and people trying to sell you stuff. Not Jewel Howard Carter! it feels like you are coming back home after a long day looking at all the amazing stuff around luxor and its position on the west bank has a great view of the nile and surrounding banana farms. We had to come back for a second stay after going to Cairo because we missed the quietness at Howard Carter. It can seem a little bit remote being in a small farming area but we had no troubles at all getting rides to the sites and into Luxor (indrive app was great). The bed was nice and soft and the food was also good at the hotel, we had breakfast twice and dinner once. Highly recommeded!

Authenticity-Set amongst the Theban hills and Nile agricultural area. Simple, cosy, mud brick cottage with nice garden and rooftop to enjoy the panoramic views. Abdul is super friendly and can help with whatever you need. We booked a hot air balloon tour through him. He is also an excellent chef and the home cooked meals we had at Nour El Balad was the best food we had in Egypt. Duck, chicken, kofta were all superb.
