Apartment is Very comfortable, self contained, quiet, environmentally conscious, nice shower and great treat on arrival. People are extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is very tasty and extensive variety of foods. Great location to explore the island. Close to the harbour and the Cafe Molin. We were lucky to be invited to join the yearly festival that happened that weekend and to get a more in depth experience of the Faroese culture.

Beautifully kept authentic family home with furniture and memorabilia from previous generations. It gives a great impression of what living might have been like in the (not too long ago) past on the Faroe Islands. The host was super friendly and we had great discussions, as well as stories about the family in the Faroe Islands.

Located in Tórshavn, 1.4 miles from Sandagerð Beach, Havgrim Seaside Hotel 1948 provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The hotel features family rooms. The included breakfast was fantastic. The fresh squeezed orange juice and ginger shot was wonderful. We loved the location being slightly outside of town. Some reviews mentioned they thought the location was a bit far from the town, but the short walk (maybe 10 min) was completely worth being seaside, and was easy to find. Our room was very clean, with nice decor and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. We had a smaller standard room, but the shelving provided enough room for our clothes so we didn't have to be in and out of our suitcase all week. We read some reviews where people found the room too small, but we found it ok. If you don't want a small room, it may be best to upgrade to a bigger room. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
