Located 26 km from Stansted Airport and just minutes from the M11/M25, this refurbished 14th century former coaching inn now offers comfortable en suite accommodation in this quiet village. Late check-in was possible. We arrived very late to the facility due to a travel hiccup.

Roydon Marina Village Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Roydon Rail Station, which has direct links to Stratford Rail Station. The area is lovely, staff where pleasant enough had all that we needed.

Hotel Cromwell Stevenage was once a farm house and home to John Thurloe, secretary to Oliver Cromwell. The property is close to the A1(M) and just 10 minutes’ drive from Knebworth Park. Very modern decor throughout the building itself. The bedroom/bathrooms had a luxury feel.
