Their breakfast, which was included with our room, was fantastic. They give you a menu of options from which you order, instead of having a buffet. they were extra accommodating of my kids, who were still hungry after eating the breakfast that was included (not the hotels fault, my kids are just bottomless pits). The hotel gave them additional sausages and eggs for free, when it should have been charged since it was extra. The room was very clean, the beds very comfortable. We stayed in a family room that had three beds, and it was incredibly spacious. parking was easy and convenient, right outside the hotel.

An Grianan Hotel is in the rolling hills of Donegal in historic Burt, and has free Wi-Fi, elegantly designed bedrooms, and a restaurant within a converted church. I booked this property because I was trying to avoid driving and parking in a large city. I honestly didn't expect it to be very nice as it was the least expensive hotel we stayed in during our visit to Ireland. I loved that the hotel was out in the countryside and there was plenty of parking. Every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming. We arrived just before dinner and the desk agent offered to book a table in the restaurant for us. She assured me that we would love it and we did. Our waiter was charming and our dinner was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant was very busy and it looked like it was a popular choice with the locals. Our room was large and it was very clean, modern and quiet. The bathroom was great with lots of counter space and good lighting. Breakfast was very nice with many options to pick from including several items that were prepared to order. Overall, the hotel was a great choice and a great value.
