The Nara Visitor Center and Inn is situated in the heart of Nara, just a 3-minute walk from Kofuku-ji Temple and Naramachi. It was clean and accessible. The facilities were very fun to use and the choices of activities were great for the kids. The staff are friendly and the view from our room was amazing.

We loved this room so much we picked up food, ate in and just relaxed for the evening. If you are staying in Nara book the Double or Twin Room with Private External Bathroom. As a bonus its only a 5 minute walk from the train/bus station. Wish we stayed longer here.

The hotel itself does not provide everything as one-stop service as another, you have to wander around the town to find the things you are looking for (sometime over your expectation). I was so enjoyed staying there and also the time to talk with the locals (but you may need to have some Japanese communication skill, or even you cannot, I am certainly sure that they will somehow communicate with you with their best). You must try Sento, the public available for free to their guest staying there.

We had blowfish meal on the first night and it’s fantastic. Every dish is made with quality ingredients and mixed magically in harmony. Breakfast is also excellent. Very well made. Osen bathtub is perfect. Roomy and relaxing. Shower gel etc are good quality. Room is big and well designed. Bed is comfortable. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. Easy access to temple and deer park.

Good location (if you have car), they have free parking, the rooms are really space and comfortable. The lake view was very nice, we really enjoyed. There is a veranda, very nice to have a breakfast watching the view. I really liked the sound system in the room, it has many channels with good music :) The bathtub with jacuzzi was amazing, there is a tv in front of the bathtub, for the price was amazing! staffs are friendly, but unfortunately they don’t have a vegan breakfast, besides that, we were very satisfied!

Breakfast was including in our meal the food was amazing, had most things and so fresh! We loved all the facilities onsens, indoor pools and communal facilities. Would recommend it to anyone with children/families wanting to stay somewhere with pools and onsens. The staff at the facility were great and hopeful when ever we had any enquires.

I stayed in the old bulding and had the pleasure to listen to waterfall and frog sounds from the nearby river all night. Very soothing. The place has a great retro atmosphere, clean and nice onsen and great food. On top of that, when I inquired about public buses to Koyasan from near villages, I was told by the receptionist he will take me there the next morning via car. Free of charge. What a service!

ÄLSKADE detta hotellet. Bodde på 6 hotell under våra 2,5 veckor i Japan och detta var utan tvekan det bästa boendet. Rent och städat, hemtrevlig miljö. Supertrevlig och hjälpsam personal, nära till tågstationen och bra läge. Bjöd på supergod glass i ett lounge rum samt nudlar om man var hungrig efter 21:30. Härlig atmosfär och kändes som hemma. Man ställer av sina skor i receptionen och låser in skorna i skoskåp med nyckel. Kanonbra tvättstuga. Ett rum med 2 massagestolar som vi använde många gånger. Ska vi till Nara igen är det detta boendet vi kommer bo på. Vi testade inte frukosten eller Onsen så kan inte kommentera detta.
