Staff was wonderful. Extremely accommodating. They were able to meet us at the airport and the pier and lead us to the hotel. Which I recommend as the old town area of Lamu is a bit of a maze. The building has super authentic architecture and lots of outdoor areas to relax.

Situated within 500 metres of Manda Beach and 500 metres of Shela Beach in Lamu, Jua House provides accommodation with seating area. Shela is amazing all around, but I know that starting my journey at the Jua House was a major contributor to make this one of the most special travel experiences in my life. I met wonderful people here who became my Jua family and will be with me for life. the rooms are beautifully decorated, spotless clean, common spaces are awe inspiring, the breakfast is delicious, and above all, the staff is beyond kind.
