Situated in Jaffna, 1.9 km from Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, Thambu Illam features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. The property is a small, beautifully restored historic villa. This means the service is personalised, with staff very attentive to the needs of their guests. The food was absolutely outstanding and we enjoyed trying local Jaffna specialties. We also loved having a pool to cool off in at the end of a hot day exploring. There was good information provided which outlined the history of Jaffna and of the villa.

Convenient location right next to railway station but also quiet. Spacious and attractive room, pool was clean and refreshing. Some of the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. Staff was attentive and welcoming and always ready to help, from the front desk to the restaurant Special appreciation for the young woman at front desk (Ms Thanthoty ? sorry for misspelling ) who helped me book my onward bus ticket.

We spent 3 nights at the Hertiage Hotel and had the best time. The facilities are outstanding, the staff is super nice. Breakfast is superb. Having access to a pool in the heat of Jaffna is priceless. Great vegetarian food options around the corner. Rios Ice Cream is loved by locals and you should try it as well.

First of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and was homely. Secondly, the food was excellent and our family enjoyed all the dishes, specially the crab curry. Alcohol was not that great. My wife ordered a drink with Arack ( green in color). It was overly sweet and pretty much had no alcohol in the drink. Draft beer was great. Thirdly, the room design was excellent and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The hotel provided accommodation for my driver, for which I am thankful. I will definitely visit again.

The property was stylish and the location was very central, within walking distance of the public library, clock tower and market. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

Set in Jaffna, within 1 km of Jaffna Railway Station and 1.2 km of Jaffna Public Library, Jaffna Inn offers accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... It is a nice and quiet modern hotel with good facilities. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and pillows. There is a fridge in the room and and tea making facilities in the lounge area outside the room. We were given two small bottles of water on arrival. The shower works well with good hot water, once you get it adjusted properly. There is a shower screen too, but like all bathrooms in Sri Lanka the bathroom floor still gets wet. The air conditioner works well and the room also has a large ceiling fan. The hotel is well located just 1.6 kilometers from Jaffna Fort and about a kilometre from the rooftop bar at the Jaffna Jetwing Hotel. Breakfast was not included but is available, we did not have breakfast at the hotel. All in all a good place to stay.

PJ Hotels Jaffna has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Jaffna. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The security staff, cleaning staff and reception staff all were kind. Especially reception staff Mr Jenit accommodated all my family's ad hoc requests without hesitation and delay. A very convenient place to cover the whole of Jaffna if you are planning to cover all parts of Jaffna. Few restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Highly recommend.

I really liked this place. The WiFi worked great. The rooms are clean. Staff is nice and very accommodating. The minibar was a true treat as most places in Sri Lanka don’t offer a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was tasty. Tv in the room worked and had some English programming available. The hotel’s location is very good as transportation isn’t required to get many items.

Located just 2.5 km from the city centre, Yal's Town Inn is located in Jaffna. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV, air conditioning and a hot tub. The staff is really nice and friendly. Food was exceptional Totally worth the paying amount. Also as the inn located in the middle of the town we can travel anywhere around with ease Definitely recommend for anyone even solo or with a group this is a safe place to stay.
