Boutique Hotel Virkas muiža se nahaja v zgodovinskem nemškem dvorcu na zelo mirni lokaciji, obdani s parkom in dolino reke Venta, 20 min hoje od znamenitega slapa in središča mesta Kuldiga. The hotel was really nice and cozy. We are in love with big window pane. Good place to relax and talk. Also the receptionist was friendly and nice.

These people have really gone above and beyond with the restoration of this building. It was very interesting reading about the history of this property and seeing pictures of what it used to be. It's very unique - the floors are absolutely askew since they kept the original structure of the house, and they adapted the furniture to it as well. Lovely furnishing choices in my opinion and an incredibly cosy atmosphere. Breakfast was great - be sure to mention it though if you are a vegetarian, since it is not a buffet, but they serve you the whole thing! The location was also great, in a characteristic street full of cafés and shops for hand crafted stuff, a 3 minute walk from the bridge over the Venta river.

This newly renovated hotel is located in the very heart of the beautiful and romantic old town of Kuldiga. Kuldigas Metropole has been a hotel and restaurant since 1910. The breakfast was amazing! In fact, there was so much that I could only manage half. Photos are attached.

Laura was really nice, the apt was clean and had everything we needed. Great value and service. It's definitely better than a hotel, and I'd be crazy staying anywhere else. Will be renting every time I'm in town.
