Situated along Hardanger Fjord, this waterfront hotel offers views of Folgefonna Glacier, indoor and outdoor pools, along with a private beach area. Wi-Fi access and private parking are both free. Everything about this hotel is great! We booked it because it was good value for a hotel with a pool.. but apparently it is also a sort of a museum, has a very extensive spa, great sports facilities, tennis court, squash, numerous fantastic lounges. The observatory/tower is awesome! The heated outdoor pool is absolutely great, especially at night with the stars and the fjord background… the staff was fantastic. Even upgraded us from mountain to fjord facing room free of charge. Bottom line - We can not recommend this hotel enough!

The breakfast was the highlight of our stay - good tasty food and lovely staff. The rooms are wonderful with really comfortable bed. Also the nature around the place is magnificent which makes the stay really good.

The location and the view were exceptional!! The restaurant was very good and the staff were very helpful. It was a beautiful place to stay. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the fjord. It has big verandas with seating for socializing before and after dinner particularly.

We managed to get a room with a balcony, it was great to sit outside and look at the mountains, truly beautiful. The food which was served for us (pork ribs and fish of the day), we could continue to eat them all day long, very tasty. In addition, they brew their own beer! Didn't get to taste all the flavours, but a good experience and overall the best day/night of our trip. Definitely recommend!

Bekas rumah pertanian ini telah dipugar dengan hati-hati dan diubah menjadi hotel dan restoran bergaya pedesaan. A very special experience. Very old buildings with modernised bathrooms and interior. Very good food. Superfriendly hosts. We have stayed here twice and will come back.

With an idyllic location by the Hardangerfjord, this elegant hotel features traditional décor, a waterfront garden and free Wi-Fi. The impressive Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall is a 5-minute drive away. The breakfast was the largest and best free breakfast we have ever had at a hotel! The historic side of the hotel was fantastic for a coffee/tea break and meals. We had a very large (two-bedroom) suite in the newer wing of the hotel. It included a kitchen where we baked a supermarket pizza one evening. The balcony had a beautiful view looking down the fjord.
