This hotel is in Øystese Village, on the shore of the Hardangerfjord. It offers a restaurant and for additional cost pool and sauna access. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and some feature a balcony. The room was bigger than we expected. Staff were professional and helpful. Breakfast was simple but high quality.

Very Silent and Peaceful location. I just could not get enough of the view. It had an apple tree outside our Balcony. Dinner was Super expensive, I will not say no, but the chef is top. Always ask for a Table Fan which will be given to you on request, as u will need 1 for slight air circulation in the room….coz u will need to shut the windows coz of the outside noise and mosquitoes sometimes.…or else u might feel stuffy or sweaty in the middle of the night…..this is a tip to be used in the whole of Norway.

The room and the bathroom were confortable and our room had a very nice terrace. We appreciated the staff; they were very friendly and kind.

Az 1891-ben épült Fossli Hotel többek között a híres norvég zeneszerzőt, Edvard Grieg-et is rendszeres vendégének mondhatta. Charming. Going back in time like in a museum. Great breakfast and diner. Kind staff.
