Flåm Marina
Hotel in Flåm
Located next to the marina in the scenic town of Flåm, the accommodations includes free WiFi and magnificent views of the Sognefjord. The location was AWESOME for the view, although it was further away from the bus stop than I expected: about 15' walk with luggage as opposed to the expected 5'. And it's also not visible from the bus stop, which made it a little harder to find. The "room" is more of a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchenette fully stocked and 1 bathroom with limited toiletries. For us, the place was HUGE - wish we could've stayed more than the 1 night. There were 4 beds, 2 twins and 1 bunk bed, and they were super comfortable. We had a 1st floor apartment, so the kitchen opened up to a nice patio area that overlooked the fjord and marina. The restaurant in the complex was also EXCELLENT at dinner, serving the best fish soup I had in Norway (I had 3 different ones). The included breakfast was adequate, but not spectacular.

The Lodgen consists of a historical house with several rooms, a heavily remodeled barn turned into a bar with modern rooms on top, and a garden area with sauna, jacuzzi, fire pit, bbq, kitchen etc. The place has been designed for outdoor life (there's a drying area in the basement) and meeting people either in the garden, at the kitchens, in the house, at the bar, or in the jacuzzi! It has a very relaxed and chill vibe, and Hans, the host, has plenty of recommendations for hikes, activities, etc. and makes sure everyone is comfortable.

Featuring a garden, Værlandet Havhotell is located in Hamna. The hotel provides both free WiFi and free private parking. It was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful location and extremely nice room equipped with everything you need, plus a terrace and impressive views to the ocean and the rocky Alden. We hiked around the island and had a relaxing time in the room enjoying the stormy weather. We also got very good breakfast and dinner. And Elin was incredibly friendly and helpful! It was really the perfect weekend getaway!

The hotel features breathtaking lake and mountains view. The dinner was delicious with a number of different options for a fair price. The hotel has a history and a lot of nice old decorations well saved till now. The room(in the annex) has a good shower, heating, fridge, kettle and a professional hardier. The breakfast is good. There are hot tea and coffee available at reception throughout a day, you can have a take away lunch and coffee quite cheap. There is a boat available for guests free of charge.
