All suites have views of the mountain. It was a good place to acclimatize before you go up Machu Picchu. Beautiful garden, excellent food selections for breakfast. The grounds are very well-kept. You can pretty much stay there for days and be happy. The indoor pool was very welcoming after a day's hike.

Only problem was the roosters waking you up at 5-6 am, but not the hotels fault!

Del Pilar Ollantaytambo offers accommodation in Ollantaytambo, 9 km away from the Train Station, and 30 km away from Machu Pichu. The property offers a daily breakfast with tropical fruits. The staff was amazing, friendly, professional, and a delight. We wished we would have stayed an extra night to relax, enjoy the facilities, and the peaceful location. The food was FANTASTIC. They were able to easily accommodate food preferences/allergies. We are still dreaming about their passion fruit cheese cake. Oh- and the fresh squeezed juices at breakfast were out of this world!! We would love to return, and recommend it to anyone touring the Sacred Valley!!

Built against a mountainside and located in an 18th-century building, this hotel features cosy modern accommodation set around a colourful courtyard. It is situated in the magical Sacred Valley. It is my second stay at La Casona de Yucay, and my third visit there in 2023 (after 2 nights in 2018 and 2022 just visiting the place). Its location is very good, the rooms nice with big windows, clean and cozy. All staff are wonderful people, always very helpful and making you feel 'at home'. We stayed for 10 nights in total (3 nights and 7 nights) as we were hiking, resting, online working. I also has its very own charm with its architecture and beautiful gardens. We always moved in the micro buses to Urubamba or other places in the valley. I loved staying at Casona de Yucay, it is a magical place. I will come back.

Part of Tierra Viva Hotels Chain, this property is located in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, 60 km from the centre of Cusco and only 11 km from Ollantaytambo, the starting point to explore... My husband and I loved our stay in Tierra Viva. The views from the surrounding mountains are beautiful. Staff is super friendly and always ready to help. Food was delicious; both the breakfast menu and the restaurant menu. Rooms are so spacious and well decorated. We loved the green areas where you can chill in hammocks, outdoor beds, and sit around the fireplace. Mind the location is not walkable distance from the closest town which is Urubamba; you must take a taxi to get you there. This is a great stay if you want to relax for some days after the high-pace touristic days.
