Tena korua Marie raua ko Ronnie Everything Marie is exceptional she keeps the place running smoothly and clean and tidy. Staff are so friendly and helpful, the cooked meals are huge enough for two meals. Swimming and location beautiful, accomodation spectacular views and Marie so insightful placed me at end bungalow. Ronnie organized the tours who picked me up at pontoon literally around the corner. The most memorable was taputapuatea Marae highlight and Faaroa river ride Havana tours uplifting nga taonga tuku iho o nga tupuna. Also Ta'aha tour Vanilla, Pearl and Rum farm and bonus snorkeling coral reef mama also whipped up a kete and potae for us to take home from coconut leaves. Loved our experiences at Fare Vahine Oviri - from the awesome welcome from Johnny and family, the 4 hour tour of the island with Johnny (the pilgrimage to Taputapuatea being the absolute highlight), snorkeling in the lagoon and even a meal with the family. The Fare is comfortable and well provisioned for self-catering. This delightful place is one of the best kept secrets in the whole Pacific.

We stayed one night, we were picked up, dropped off, made to feel welcome and breakfast, our hosts, and the view were all beautiful.

Just 80 metres from the Lagoon access to Sea view, La maison Du Voyage offers a relaxed tropical haven with free snorkelling equipment. We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!
