It was an amazing old building with heaps of character and intriguing decor. The rooms were great and the beds extremely comfortable, breakfast was good and extensive and above all, the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Neighbouring Åre’s ski slopes, this lodge-style hotel is just 250 metres from Åre Train Station. It features a cosy fireplace lounge, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving traditional Swedish cuisine. First of all the service is excellent, everyone that attended us in the desk was super professional and nice. All the facilities are very clean, in particular the storage for the skiing gear, normally it gets dirty pretty fast but they managed to keep it extemely clean through out the day. This room and after ski changing rooms are great. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of different options.

Situated a 7-minute lift ride from Vällistefjället Mountain, this hotel offers free Wi-Fi access, a restaurant and en-suite guest rooms with a TV. Guests can enjoy free breakfast, dinner and parking. It’s a beautiful old building with lots of tradition. Modernized in the gentlest and most fitting way. Högfâllshotellet is a gem. The staff is kind and helpful, the food is delicious and the views are one of a kind. We loved the Sauna and the proximity to the slopes.

Located just 140 metres from Bergabanan ski lift, the traditional Hotel Åregården is situated in the heart of Åre. This rustic-chic alpine hotel offers a cocktail bar and impressive mountain views. What a wonderful hotel. This is the perfect place to stay in Are. There is a short walk to the ski lifts, just enough to warm up your muscles, and you can ski almost back to the hotel at the end of the day even when the streets are clear of snow. This was a last minute ski trip with my son and we'd never been to Sweden before so didn't know what to expect. The hotel exemplified the concept of Hygge - it was warm, cosy, stylish and contemporary. Our room was a good size for a ski resort and even had its own drying cupboard for wet ski gear. There was plenty of hot water for a bath, the toiletries were excellent, there were tea and coffee making facilities and lots of hooks for skiwear. The breakfasts were unbelievably good. We ended up having about four courses every morning. With a range of mueslis, fruits, nuts, seeds, yoghurt, porridge, fabulous breads, cheeses, cold meats before we started on the cooked breakfast. Coffee was plentiful, service with a smile. The food in the wine bar was also excellent and we had a delicious dinner there one evening.

Ten gustownie urządzony hotel położony jest na terenie popularnego ośrodka narciarskiego Åre i oferuje widoki na górę Renfjället. The staff went beyond expectations. Not only were they helpful, but we had several, slightly odd requests that they managed to help with. Always with a smile and a friendly chat. Either before the stay over email or once we got to the hotel. Location was right on the slopes with fantastic access for skiers, and only a short 5-10 minute taxi ride from Åre train station. Large selection for buffet breakfast and Hot tub with view out over the lake. Each room had a view of the slopes. Uber cool vibe throughout the hotel, from the small rooms to the large guest lounge. Additional public bar that was open to and popular with the skiing crowd, with the after ski party atmosphere and live band from 3pm-6pm added some excitement to the stay. They also managed to cater for our daughters coeliac, gluten free requirements with out any problem. She had some of the tastiest and most varied meals, especially breakfast that she has every had while travelling.

Located in the centre of Åre ski resort, Holiday Club Åre offers rooms with free WiFi access and views of Åreskuten Mountain or Lake Åre. The spa area it's amazing!
