We loved the bungalow with private pool and firepit at the river in the middle of this reserve. Like a little piece of paradise. So many animals will visit you during your stay, and I personally loved the fireflies above the river in the early evening, so beautiful. Do not tell anyone so we keep it a bit of a secret!!

Located 7 km away from Simunye, Hlane Royal National Park offers accommodation at different two camps on a 22,000 hectare game reserve The main camp, Ndlovu Camp, hosts the reception services, the... The location is unbeatable! You can just sit in a deck chair all day watching the animals come to the watering hole or (passive ones) wander around the accommodation area. Rhinos, a family of giraffes, a giant lizard (I’m guessing), an elephant, impala, monkey, frog… on safari we saw lions and 4 of the big 5, vultures, even 3 baby warthogs! It was incredible and filled my cup. (I’ve been on safaris before but this one is more relaxing as you also get the animals coming to you)

Nestled in the Lubombo Mountains, Mabuda Guest Farm has been described as “the place of dreams”. This working farm offers a range of self-catering, country style accommodation. It was really nice farm with nice coffee shop. Very warm regard from owner and staff.
