Good breakfast and refreshing pool. The beds were comfortable and the location is perfect. Down the street from the main road. Lots of food, shopping and music around the corner. Very helpful staff. My mother forgot her purse in the can to the ferry and the owner was able to contact the driver and get her bag back to us in time. tastefully decorated.

The place is amazing, gorgeous setting, great gardens. Beautiful rooms. We had a two bed suite that was perfect for the six of us. Swim up room makes everything seem easier too. The breakfast never got boring, we were still finding new things on our last day. We opted for full board which I regret. Too much food! The staff are attentive and lovely. Everything you ask is responded to immediately and with real care. For example when I asked about nuts for my daughters allergies the head chef came out to speak to me personally. Everyone is just so professional and lovely. I’ll be thinking of meandering around that pool for many years to come. I hope we can come back soon!

Facing the beachfront, Grand Mercure Khao Lak Bangsak offers 5-star accommodation in Khao Lak and has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden. It was the best! The hotel is very clean and convenient overall. The room, the beach, the pool… the bed was I think the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in, the bathroom was amazing, wide, clean and practical. The staff was amazing! They were so friendly and all spoke very good English. The beach is really good too. At first I was scared because they warned us there might be jellyfish but we didn’t see any and everyone else was also enjoying the ocean, so I don’t think it’s common. The sunbeds get busy during the day but we always managed to find one. There are really nice restaurants/bars and massage places on the beach too next to the hotel. There is happy hours during the day at the pool bar and you get 1+1 on the drinks! The breakfast was good with selections wide enough. We haven’t tried the hotel’s restaurant but ordered room service once and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a top resort experience and we definitely want to come back.

They are so kind and gave me fruit and a necklace as a thank you present. They also gave me a free lift to the pier which was a kind gesture as I had left organising my transfer a little late. Don’t expect this of course but they are just wonderful people.

My stay at MJ boutique hotel in a Seaview room was exceptional. The views were breathtaking, making every moment in the room a delight. The cleanliness and decor of the room provided a perfect. What truly made my visit memorable was the warmth of the hotel staff. They were attentive and genuinely caring.
