Facing Preguiças River in Barreirinhas, this resort features 2 pools with a bar and sunloungers, a multi-sport court and gym. It offers air-conditioned rooms and buffet breakfast at the restaurant. The staff of the resort was very kind and helpful, the room was great, with good size and excellent bathrooms. Breakfast, continental style, was nice (it's possible to order tapioca or omelet and they bring it to your table) and other meals in the restaurant were of great flavour for a fir price. The lobster moqueca is fabulous and served 2 adults and a six-year-old child for a very convenient price (R$ 170,00). Location is excellent for most tours, because it's very close to the beginning of most of them, but the resort is a little bit far from the Beira Mar Street, what can be downside for who wants to have lunch or dinner in town, since most restaurants are in the nearby of this street. Kids playing area is excellent, pretty new and well maintained. There're three pools, one of them with river water and waterfalls, which was a delight after the tours and all the heat of the day. Within the property there's a pottery, where you can buy pieces from local artisans that work there or you can make your own vase and take it with you! Our son and us enjoyed a lot the moment and the local artisan helped us to make a very beautiful piece of our own.

Situated in Barreirinhas, 3.3 km from Wharf, Gran Lençóis Flat Residence Mandacaru 311 - 611 features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. The rooms are very noisy, you can hear the person next door plug in their phone charger in the power outlet. The sink was clogged. The bedspread had a stain on it. There was mold in the bathroom. Some elderly people were there every day screaming in the lobby. Just awful.

A pleasant place with swimming pool, pool-bar, gym, sauna etc. Very good breakfast with a reasonable price. Good beds with comfortable mattresses, comfortable bathroom.. Pleasant restaurante on the river bank. The apartment owner Victor was very friendly person, always available by whatsapp, trying to do his best to fix some small issues we met.. Overall seems to be the best option in the town.

Next to Lençóis Maranhenses National Park in São Luis, this 4-star resort offers an outdoor swimming pool, a sauna and air-conditioned rooms. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. Great services: tour agency in the compound, big pool with bar, restaurant open the entire day, restaurant on a dock. The room was big and clean.

Set in Atins, 100 metres from Atins Beach, Vila Guará offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Right on the kite spot, & in Atins that’s a huge plus…..all around great staff, large comfortable rooms, great shower….life is good here

Set in Barreirinhas, 5.1 km from Wharf, Gran Lençois Flat offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The terrace at the river and the balcony offered a great view, the pool was open until 22:00, the room was cosy.
